Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What are the dimensions of the AquaFlask bottle?
A: The 27-ounce AquaFlask is about 3 inches in diameter at the base, and 12 inches in height (with the handle facing downward). The 16-ounce AquaFlask is 2.75 inches in diameter at the base, and 10.6 inches in height (with the handle facing downward). The mouthpiece for both bottle sizes is 1 1/4 inches in diameter with the cap off.
Q: How long does the AquaFlask keep drinks hot and cold?
A: This depends on the temperature of the beverage when it is first put into the bottle (ice vs. no ice, for example). Generally speaking, the bottles will keep cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours, and hot drinks hot for up to 12 hours.
Q: How do I keep the bottle clean?
A: We recommend washing it by hand with soap and water, and letting it air dry with the cap off. For a deeper clean, use a bottle brush. Do not use on the stove, in the microwave, freezer, or dishwasher.
Q: Do AquaFlask bottles contain BPA, phthalates, or lead?
A: No, our bottles do not contain BPA, phthalates, or lead. We use only the highest-quality food-grade stainless steel. The cap contains BPA-free plastic and a silicone sealing ring, both of which are safe for contact with any beverage.
Q: Is the handle removable?
A: No, the handle is permanently attached to the bottle
Q: Do the AquaFlask bottles leak?
A: No, the silicone ring prevents leaking. If your bottle does leak, 1) make sure you screw the cap on tightly, and 2) check to see if the silicone ring at the base of the cap is twisted. If it looks like the ring is twisted, pop it off and re-align it so that it is smooth all the way around.
Q: Where are the AquaFlask bottles made?
A: Our bottles are responsibly made in China and distributed by AquaFlask in Los Angeles, CA.
Q: What if I lose my cap? Do you sell replacement caps?
A: We will be selling replacement caps on Amazon.com starting in early 2016. If you need a cap in the meantime, send an email to info@TheAquaFlask.com and we'll help you out.
Q: Do you accept wholesale orders or offer custom logo printing?
